Fine stay, as always. Recently renovated and nice accommodation with magnificent setting adjacent to downtown and trail system. Good food plus responsive and very friendly staff. Great breakfast - variety of meals.
Wi-Fi signal was not very good.

Hotel was newly decorated, I enjoyed the stay.
The staff were exceptional, great and unbeatable location to convenience store. I asked for triple room with ice, mini fridge and the AC and they kindly provided it.

The room was pretty small, and it reminded me of it needed some updates. The shower didn't drain well, so standing in ankle-deep water while showering was a bit gross. The furniture looked worn, and the mirror frame in the bathroom was peeling. On the bright side, the sheets seemed clean, and it was nice getting a quiet room next to the suites. But yeah, overall cleanliness could definitely be improved.

perfect base for exploring decorah's parks and attractions
Even though i had booked a budget room, i was kinda surprised that my late arrival earned me a quiet room next to a special suite, and i really appreciated the convenience of having the best gas station and convenience store right nearby for snacks and essentials . The hotel is also just a short walk from the charming dunnings spring park and the fine heritage farm and preservation gardens.
